All new clients need to start with an Initial Consultation and Health Assessment (unless you are selecting an Emotional Release Technique only appointment).

Once Josie confirms your appointment, you will receive an email with all the information you need and intake forms to complete before your appointment. Please make sure you regularly check your email and add “hello@josiecarin.com” to your address book so essential emails don’t get caught in your spam folder.

How we will work together

Initial Consultation

During your initial 60-minute consultation, you will sit down with me to go over your health history and review all your symptoms and diet. This comprehensive appraisal ensures that I have all of the information needed to gain a complete understanding of all the factors affecting your health and to get a baseline from which we can track improvement in your symptoms.

On completion of our Initial Consultation and Health Assessment, I will put together an interim health plan which will:

  • Recommend initial functional testing (if required)

  • Provide you with dietary guidelines and recommend initial supplements and lifestyle changes for you to begin straight away.

This health plan will be emailed to you after our appointment. Note that this health plan will be just the first step - like the first chapter in a book - it will be a foundational plan to start to shift the needle towards better health. Over a few consultations, we will start to build on this plan based on the results of any lab tests, with further recommendations tailored to you and how you are responding to treatment.

Second Consultation

Once you complete your labs (if required) and I have received the lab results, I will prepare a revised treatment plan. We will then meet for a second consultation, where we will

  • Review the results of your lab testing.

  • Discuss the underlying patterns and triggers that are contributing to your symptoms.

  • Outline the reviewed treatment plan, including dietary, supplement and lifestyle recommendations.

  • Answer any questions you have about the findings or the treatment plan.

This follow-up consultation typically occurs 3 or 4 weeks after the Initial Consultation.

Follow-up Consultations

Ongoing, you'll have follow-up appointments every 4 weeks to check in with your progress as you move through the different stages of treatment

At these visits, we will:

  • Review your progress on the treatment plan,

  • Fine-tune your protocol and troubleshoot any issues,

  • Customise your eating plan and reintroduce foods,

  • Make additional recommendations, and answer any questions you may have
